This new lab expands and enhances the material research, formulation and design capabilities. In addition to an expanded research and development center, the building will include an showroom focused on cradle-to-cradle design principles and a visitor center.
The lab will further accommodate growing customer needs for sustainable and circular economy enabling material needs that are durable, light-weight, and cost competitive.
The lab will be staffed by a dedicated team of industrial designers, materials scientists and fabricators, as well as regional academics and scientists. It will also offer an expanded capability for the continued development of advanced ECOR composites and fiber alloys, made from the waste resources of our customers and other regional enterprises.
