​Sustainable Living Innovations is a multi-housing developer and building technology company based in Seattle and focused on reducing the time to design and construct mid- and high-rise buildings by 50%; delivering projects at 20% less construction cost than comparable Type I buildings; and to increase asset value by delivering turnkey, high performance and sustainable residential buildings.

SLI has developed a patented system that delivers custom buildings from a kit of prefabricated component parts, teaming with developers and general contractors. Structural steel and other building components (walls, stairs, doors, windows, cabinetry, etc.) are prefabricated off site and trucked to the job site for installation and connection. This integrated approach results in superior quality, high-performance buildings.

The first project currently under construction is in the University District of Seattle, near the University of Washington. This six story, 24 unit apartment building, features two types of one bedroom units with four units per floor. Arlan Collins, CEO of SLI, personally selected ECOR as the material to be used for all of the cabinetry in the units for their first development.

After rigorous testing, the SLI development team found ECOR to be lighter-weight, stronger, more durable, cleaner and preferrable to all other sustainable material choices for cabinetry. Working with the Noble Environmental Technologies R&D team, SLI was able to evolve their cabinetry designs even further to create an array of cabinet designs that were even more design superior and economical.
