ECOR Global, manufacturer of sustainable building materials, has relocated their US headquarters to a LEED Certified Platinum Building. The highly visible, six-story La Jolla Gateway Office Project boasts floor to window ceilings, providing lots of natural light. The LEED Platinum Certification means that all categories of building systems including energy, air conditioning and ventilation, water conservation, lighting, etc. have been retrofitted with enhanced energy and water savings systems. ECOR’s fourth floor suite also includes two large outdoor patios, with sliding doors that can be opened to let fresh air inside. These features help enhance indoor air quality and create a spectacular working environment.
ECOR’s new HQ is located directly adjacent to one of Westfield’s most popular and successful regional power centers in the country, University Town Center. In addition to very diverse and up to the minute shopping and dining amenities, the mall includes flagship stores from Crate and Barrel, Pottery Barn, CB2 and many others. These flagship stores often serve as test markets for new products and prototypes where demos and experiments with new products take place. The product development teams frequently visit from their headquarters to get real time customer engagement and feedback regarding these new products. ECOR is currently collaborating with some of these retailers on prototype projects made with ECOR material. The prospect of potentially seeing ECOR products in theses store literally across the street from ECOR’s new headquarters is very exciting.
On the west side of the mall is the terminus of the new Blue Line Trolley. This transportation hub is a short walk from the new headquarters allowing ECOR employees to use public transportation to get to work.
Our new headquarters location reflects ECOR’s commitment to lowering our carbon footprint and Phase 3 environmental impacts company-wide. The entire ECOR team is excited about the new space and the inspiration it will provide as we roll-out ECOR’s disruptive conversion technology and innovative products throughout North America.
