Jay Potter

Director, CEO, & Co-Founder

25-year veteran in designing, inventing, building and investing in dozens of innovative small companies focused on sustainability and circularity. Mr. Potter has invested, participated and directed more than $85,000,000 in breakthrough Clean-tech enterprises including the first organic disinfectant to achieve a 5 log kill rate, the first solar covered parking array (Kyocera), the first solar powered EV charging platform and the first US based commercial biomass pellet plant for utility co-firing. Mr. Potter is a seasoned entrepreneur who understands the many varying needs of early-stage, startup and innovative companies and has taken an active role in the development and expansion of his funded companies with great success.

Chief Operating Officer/Managing Director

Mr. Reyes joined ECOR Global in late 2020 to execute a detailed go to market and sales expansion plan. That plan is well underway in Europe and will expand into North America in 2022. Roberto has co-founded or invested in series of successful start-up ventures in diverse industries including mobile, web-development, software, retail and clean-tech. He has served in management roles focused on business development, sales, supply teams, logistics and supply chain management for technology, services, raw material, contract manufacturing and capital equipment. As an advisor to many innovative companies including Stone Brewing Company, Amylin Pharmaceuticals, Baxter Healthcare, Conexant Systems, Trinchero Family Estates and TRW Aerospace, Roberto has negotiated multi-million dollar transactions all over the world. Roberto received his Bachelor of Accountancy and Supply Chain Management from the University of San Diego and a Master of Business Administration, from Pepperdine University.

Dejan Vujovic

Mr. Vujovic has been the chief executive officer of ECOR Global’s Serbian manufacturing facility in Tavnik since 2014. Mr. Vujovic has been able to manage the many challenges that come from managing an innovative company in a developing country such as Serbia. Mr. Vujovic is comfortable in meeting with government officials or jumping on the production line with his team to fulfill a challenging order. From 2009 to 2014, he was a sales executive with Carlsberg in roles with increasing responsibility. He was also previously a sales manager for NELT Grupa. Mr. Vujovic received his Bachelor of Science degree from the School of Economics at the University of Belgrade.

Mr. Smits is responsible for finance, accounting, and day-to-day operations of ECOR Global’s subsidiary in The Netherlands. In addition, Mr. Smits is responsible for supporting customer contract transactions and follow-on product scheduling/deliveries. Mr. Smits is an experienced Chartered Accountant (RA/CPA) who started his career at Baker Tilly Berk and transitioned to E&Y as a manager prior to joining ECOR Global in 2017.

Martin A. Sabarsky

Outside Legal Counsel

An experienced transactional attorney (Latham & Watkins LLP) and former investment banker (Bear Stearns), with over two decades of experience as a senior executive with multiple clean tech companies, Mr. Sabarsky joined ECOR Global in January 2020 and is responsible for leading the finance, accounting, legal and corporate development functions of the Company. With over $10 billion of M&A, financing, and strategic partnering transactions executed at public and private companies across multiple industries, Mr. Sabarsky has a track record of successfully raising both non-dilutive & private equity / bridge funding. Selected as one of the top 100 people in the Advanced Bioeconomy 2017 by Biofuels Digest, Mr. Sabarsky is a graduate of Brown University (BA), Harvard Law School (JD), and the Rady School of Management at UC San Diego (MBA).

Project Development

Joined ECOR Global in July, of 2020 to support the execution of an expansion plan to increase production capacity worldwide. For the past 30 years, Mr. Mueller has acquired, built, owned and operated a diverse range of power generation facilities in the US, Australia, South America and Europe. These businesses included cogeneration plants (from 5 to 200MW), district heating/cooling systems in major US cities, solar electric systems and a number of large biomass power plants. From 1995 until 2020, Mr. Mueller was the founder and CEO of several companies each of which acquired or constructed new renewable energy facilities including biomass/cogeneration plants in the US, district heating/power systems in Poland and solar electric systems throughout Australia. Mr. Mueller graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a major in Economics.
